Women In Business Unlimited (WIBU) awarded Sue Dalton of Dalton & Co. the coveted Athena Award on Wednesday, October 19th at the Horizon Convention Center.

The ATHENA Award honors individuals who strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishment: women and men who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and who open paths so others may follow.

Recipients must meet each of three specific criteria:

• Assist women in reaching their full leadership potential.
• Demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in her or his business or profession.
• Provide valuable service by devoting time and energy to improving the quality of life for others in the community.

A selection committee comprised of a diverse group of community leaders reviewed all of the nomination forms and selected Sue Dalton as the 2015 award recipient.

Women in Business Unlimited is the local host organization for the ATHENA Awards Program. The program celebrates the potential of all women as valued members and leaders of our community and recognizes those who support them.
